New awakenings cinched to old pains
time spent tossing time lost overboard
warm slivers of candy bubbling
savorings of sweet relishes
passersby watching the merrymakings of chocolate swatches
dressings of jelly-flavored laces and ribbons
shawls and letter-stapled children
bracelets and bangles
rings of beaded fancy
feathered friends amid baskets of pressed flowers
dots of gladness
crocheted handkerchiefs atop blankets for pets
sharing, teasing, and pleasing
bottomless banqueting
treasured painted boxes of today and yesteryear
redecorating tomorrow
